Los Angeles Skyline
Los Angeles is home to several of the tallest skyscrapers in the Western USA, and it’s famous around the world. With sunshine for over two-thirds of the year, and consistent sunlight and weather, Los Angeles can yield a picturesque urban panorama. The Los Angeles skyline boasts of beauty and a unique west coast culture and vibe. LA’s breathtaking coastline and beautiful sandy beaches, makes this is one of the best places in the world to live and photograph.
Being the second largest city in the United States, only behind New York City, Los Angeles is the cultural, financial, and commercial center of Southern California. LA is also the biggest city on the whole of the west coast. And while New York City definitely gets it’s share of attention, many residents are bi-coastal and travel between LA and NYC to take advantage of what these two beloved cities bring, especially since the LA skyline and NYC skyline differ quite a bit. Culturally, the variety often makes people both a bit more sensate when in opposing environments.
From the LA City Hall to the famous HOLLYWOOD sign passing by the Griffith Observatory, LA is a chock full of fantastic places to photograph. One note for the traveler, just don’t forget to bring your camera!!! While you can of course use your cellphone camera, having the option to shoot with a DSLR may afford you a variety of shots of the natural or man-made landscapes, landmarks, and “creatures” you may see (either fauna or human!).
Here, we’ve got a wonderful display of some of the sights, virtually of course, which you can enjoy of this stunning city when you’re able. See the best photos, and maybe even plan out a travel itinerary for Los Angeles and California.
